Sanya Qianguqing tourism spot received over 120,000 visitors in the first month after it was put into operation on 25th September, according to authorities from the tourism spot.

The number was much higher than expected, Wang Yujing, the general manager of Sanya Qiangguqing Tourism Spot said.

As the winter peak tourism season approaches, the spot has recently decided to increase the frequency of performances of the large singing and dancing show Sanya Qiangguqing to twice a day from once a day.

Wang said Sanya Qiangguqing has received great popularity since the show made its debut in September, with bookings reaching 80%.

94% of 500 visitors surveyed left praises after watching the show.
