A delegation from New Zealand yacht industry led by Rebecca Needham, the consul general of the New Zealand General Consulate in Guangzhou, visited Sanya on 24th October, aiming to boost exchange and cooperation on the yacht industry with the city.

Wang Yong, the mayor of Sanya, extended a warm welcome to the delegation during a meeting held at Sanya Visun International Yacht Club and expressed his hope that more New Zealand yacht enterprises could sent up business and invest in Sanya.

Rebecca Needham said he was impressed by Sanya’s rich tourism resources and pledged to forge deepened cooperation with Sanya on yacht industry and other fields.

The delegation also attended a yacht seminar after the meeting.
