The first International Boat Show & Festival, supported by the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), concluded in Sanya on 22nd October, and a total of 5 yachts were sold at the event.
 
 
16 Chairmen from 14 countries’ yacht industry associations, CEOs of over 30 top international yacht manufacturers, more than 400 representatives from domestic yacht enterprises and over 20 domestic investment organizations attended the 6-day event, featuring a World Yacht Economy Forum and an international yacht show.
 
 
Hailed as the ‘Davos Forum’ of the global yacht industry, the 3-day World Yacht Economy Forum was held at Sanya Mingshen Golf Resort from October 18 to 20, and more than 40 elites from 14 countries’ yacht industries delivered keynote speeches at the forum.
 
 
  
   
The international yacht show was held at Sanya Serenity Marina from October 19 to 22, and a total of 76 yachts were showcased at the exhibition, which attracted nearly 5,000 potential yacht consumers.

According to the organizing committee of the event, the second International Boat Show & Festival is set to be held in Hainan in early December 2014.
