Sanya’s Phoenix Town to be built into an ecological livable town
The Phoenix Town in Sanya is to be built into an ecological livable town for leisure health preservation and rural vacation, and the town is expected to become a main tourism & modern agricultural service base in Sanya, according to the plan.
With a total planning area of 421.28 hectares, the project will stretch from Haiyu West Highway in the south to Phoenix Hot-spring Tourist Resort in the north, and from Phoenix International Airport in the west to the tropical agricultural sightseeing area in the east.
Located close to the Sanya city center and around Tianyahaijiao scenic spot and the South China Sea, the Sanya Phoenix Town has a total land area of 487.37 square kilometers and a total population of 50,700, it is the only multi-ethnic town including Li, Miao, Hui and Han in Hainan province.
