Hainan Meilan International Airport Co Ltd, an aeronautical business operator based in Hainan province, has said its passenger volume reached 973,200 in Jul 2014, 4.71% more than in the same month of 2013.

 

Last month, the company’s aircraft movements climbed 4.72% year on year to 7,389, according to a statement filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

 

In the month of May, the airport’s cargo and mail throughput increased 4.26% year on year to 13,200 tons.

 

In the first seven months of this year, the company’s passenger throughput amounted to 8.17 million, up 14.95% from a year earlier, and its cargo and mail throughput reached 133,600 tons in the period, up 12.47% from the same period of last year.
