During the 2013 National Day Holiday, car rentals in Sanya decreased significantly compared with the same period of previous years, according to reports.

According to industry insiders at Sanya car rental market, one of the main reasons for this is that a large number of private car owners, second-hand car dealers and automobile 4S stores have started to offer their own car rental services in recent years.

In order to attract more customers, Sanya’s many car rental companies did not increase the car rental fees above normal rates during the 2013 week-long National Day Holiday.

In addition, many car rental companies in Sanya have no limit on minimum rental days. Customers were allowed to rent the cars for as few as 3 days, or in some cases just 1 day, this year instead of the usual 7 during the same period in previous years.
