Sanya Nashan scenic area, the largest national 5A tourism attraction in Hainan province, revealed that it received a total of 102,000 visitors during the 2013 National Day holiday.

According to released data, the scenic spot embraced its tourist peak on 3th October, the third day of the holiday, with the number of visitors surpassing 20,000.

More than 14,000 private cars flocked to the scenic area during the weeklong holiday.

An official from the Nanshan scenic area said individual tourists accounted for more than 70 percent of the total number of tourists visiting the scenic spot during the weeklong holiday.
