According to Sanya Holiday Office, 6 major scenic spots in Sanya welcomed a total of 704,000 visitors on Friday, 4th October, the fourth day of the National Day holiday, a slight decline of 0.7% year-on-year.

Statistics released show the number of tourists visiting Tianya Haijiao(天涯海角)was 23,800 on Friday, a decline of 3.64% year-on-year. Meanwhile, Nanshan tourism area saw 22,500, an increase of 6.14% year-on-year, Daxiao Tongtian(大小洞天) 4,500, a decline of 6.3% year-on-year and Yalongbay Forest Park 12,500, up 1.64% year-on-year.

The occupancy rate of hotel rooms across the city was 81.12% on average, an increase of 1.03% compared to the same period of last year.

On Thursday, Sanya Phoenix International Airport operated a total of 226 flights, of which 114 were arrivals, an increase of 7.5% year-on-year, and 112 were departures, up by 4.7% year-on-year. Passenger throughput reached 33,651, up 12.5% compared to same period of last year.
