More than 80 trash cans were added along the 1.5 kilometer-long beach of Dadonghai to collect the increased garbage left by tourists during the week-long National Day holiday.
 
One member of staff from Dadonghai tourism administration said the trash cans were added on 1st October, the first day of the ongoing holiday, as part of preparations for surging tourist numbers during the Golden Week.
 
He added 6 trucks of garbage were collected during the first day of the holiday, 3 times the normal quantity.
