Tourists will pay lower prices for their accommodation in Sanya during the National Day Holiday this year, with the average prices of hotel rooms down over 10 percent compared to the same period of last year.

According to the price table, which lists the room rates for 235 hotels across the city, and is published by the Sanya commodity price control department on its official website wj.sanya.gov.cn, the prices of nearly half of the city’s hotel rooms will be less than 1000RMB per night during the upcoming Golden Week holiday.

The highest room rate in the city will be 4968RMB per night during the holiday, and at the other end of the scale the lowest will be just 88RMB.

Besides, the prices of marine tourism products, tickets for scenic spots and seafood in restaurants across the city will also be lowered during the holiday, the local commodity price control department has said.
