Haikou Railway Station transported 134,768 passengers departing from Haikou throughout July during the 62-day summer vacation period.

With the new semester fast approaching, Haikou Railway Station is now handling the travel flow of student passengers who are traveling back to schools in major cities like Beijing, Harbin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan and Xi’an.

The travel rush for college students back to school will start August 15th, lasting until early September.

To handle the student passenger rush, the station will launch additional ticket counters and offer longer ticket-purchasing times during the summer vacation end period.
