Ticket prices for flights departing Sanya during 2013 National Day Holiday have declined sharply, according to reports.

This is in sharp contrast to the ticket prices for flights arriving during the holiday, which have soared since mid-September.

Figures released show that the ticket prices for flights from cities such as Shenyang and Beijing to Sanya on October 1st have reached over RMB2000, while ticket prices for flights departing Sanya during the holiday are offering discounts of up to 80 percent.

According to reports, Sanya is among the list of the Top Ten destinations in the county for the 2013 National Day Holiday.

Experts from the Hainan tourism industry have said tourists may get cheaper air ticket prices if they choose flights arriving Sanya after October 4th.
