The 4th China & Russia Tourism Enterprises Communication Conference was held at the Four Points By Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula in Wanning City on September 22.

Over 100 scholars, government officials and representatives of tourism enterprises from both sides attended the conference and a tourism promotional video highlighting Hainan’s rich and unique tourism resources has attracted many Russian tourist agencies.

This year’s conference aims to increase the flow of tourists to Hainan Island by exploring new tourist source markets in Russia and further boosting cooperation in tourism between the two regions.

Russian tourists continue to be one of the important tourism economic drivers for Sanya, with new chartered flights from Sanya to Tyumen and Surgut, Russia launched on September 22nd this year.
