The ferry service between West Islet and Sanya Port officially resumed from September 19, 7 years after it was cancelled.

Due to the lack of public berths for passenger ferries, there has been only one ship route operating between West Islet and Sanya Port since 2006, which is insufficient for the ever-increasing demand and has caused great inconvenience to local residents and tourists alike.

The Ship “West Islet Dusi”, invested in and built by the Sanya government, has a total of 80 passenger seats and is equipped with comprehensive facilities including televisions, air-conditioning, toilets and storage.

The ship runs a daily round-trip service which departs at 7:00am from West Islet to Sanya Port with its return journey starting at 11:00am.
