Sanya launches automatic air quality monitoring stations
The automatic air quality monitoring stations in Sanya were put into trial operation on 13th September, the Hainan Daily reports.
The newly installed equipment is capable of measuring pollutants such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, PM10, and PM2.5 and providing air pollution data in a timely manner.
According to reports, real-time pollution data will be available online by the end of the year.
