According to Sanya landscape administration department, Sanya is soliciting proposals from local residents for better planning and management of the Egret Park.

The Egret Park, situated by the Lingchun river, covers around 26.7 hectares. It has been one of the main places in the city for leisure activities for local residents and tourists since it was opened to the public in 2002.

However, as Sanya undergoes its transformation into an international tourism city, the park is now unable able to meet local residents’ needs for leisure activities due to its old-fashioned management and aging facilities.

The Local government has said that residents and tourists who would like to submit proposals can send them to the QQ number 1638692403 or visit the official website of the Sanya Municipal Government at www.sanya.gov.cn to submit their ideas online.
