6 rural tourist sites in Haikou have been listed as Hainan’s 1st batch of coconut-rating sites, according to Hainan Provincial Tourism Development Commission.
 
The 6 rural tourist sites are Hainan Shiwaitaoyuan Leisure Resort, Panbian Village, Yangshan Park, Longhao Agricultural Sightseeing Park, Xianjiang Bay Leisure Resort and Huoshanquan Leisure Farm.
 
Starting from this February, Hainan has introduced coconut-rating system for rural tourist sites. According to the new measures, rural tourist sites will be categorized into five levels: one-coconut, two-coconut, three-coconut, four-coconut and five-coconut, in descending order based on their performances on things including quality of services and management.
