In order to meet the huge demand for taxis during the rush hours, Haikou will place 50 new radio taxis in the city.

The new radio taxis are white in color with Haikou’s scenic spot signs on side of the car, and are easily recognizable.

Upon the start of operations of the radio taxi service, passengers in Haikou can reserve a taxi easily by calling the hotline number 96799. After receiving passengers’ booking orders, Haikou’s radio taxi service center will quickly transfer the riders’ information to nearby taxi drivers.

In addition, passengers who deliberately break appointments many times will be added to a blacklist and won’t be able to enjoy the radio taxi service.

Haikou’s radio taxi services include an instant taxi-hailing service (less than one hour) and reservation taxi service (between an hour and 24 hours) after booking.
