On the morning of August 16th, 14 experts from the USA Urban Land Institute delivered a research report after conducting a week of market research for Sanya city. They advised that Sanya’s tourism promotion should feature the unique experiences in Sanya.

One member of the delegation said that the world’s best resorts must be able to offer tourists unique experiences.

Experts also suggested that Sanya’s tourism promotion should focus on major domestic cities and those foreign cities which are around a four or five hour flight away.

According to the report of the expert delegation, Sanya should develop itself mindful of six main things in the coming decades, including protecting its eco-system, improving its urban planning, meeting the needs of tourists, effective promotion of the city and the co-operation of local governments.
