More than 60 well-known enterprises have settled in Sanya animation industry base, according to reports.

The Sanya animation industry base project, which started construction at the beginning of 2011, has completed investment of 300 million yuan.

The first and second phases of the project are already in operation.

According to Han Yunfeng, general manger of the contractor firm, construction of the third phase project is expected to kick off in August. Half of the construction is expected to be completed by 2014.

By the end of 2013, more than 90 enterprises are expected to have settled in the animation industry base, generating sales revenue of more than 200 million yuan, Han said.
