The conceptual plan for Haikou Baishuitang Wetland Park

 

According to the Haikou Municipal Government, Haikou Baishuitang Wetland Park will be open to public at the end of this year.

Located at the junction of the east-line highway and the round-city highway, Baishuitang Wetland Park covers an area of 500 hectares, The park will be forged into a relaxation hub, integrating science education, environmental protection and sightseeing, while further enhancing the city’s ecological system.

A wetland education center, tourism facilities, timber boardwalks, vehicle campsites and bird watching locations will be built within the wetland park.

Besides, a 17.5-km-long landscape lane for cyclists and pedestrians will be built within the park with the hope of giving visitors a unique and enjoyable experience.
