According to the Sanya Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, the hospital has hired 5 tour guides who master Russian, English and Japanese from travel agencies to help provide better service to foreign visitors.

Furthermore, Sanya Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is the only hospital in Sanya which is currently able to deal with medical insurance for Russian tourists.

Sanya Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, which receives about 1,500 foreign patients every year, was founded in 1991, and approved as a combined Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital in 2003. It is now becoming a modern and public hospital excelling in both Chinese and Western medicine.
