Sanya is to release its low-altitude airspace tourism development planning soon, according to reports.

According to the planning, which is the first development planning for low-altitude airspace tourism in China, the Sanya government will cooperate with the Meiya Air Company to establish an international seaplane center in Sanya, which integrates the functions of aviation and tourism with Sanya characteristics.

The seaplane project is progressing smoothly at present, and test flights have been conducted successfully in the first half of the year.

Meanwhile, Hainan Sanya Yalong General Aviation Company has also been approved by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China to operate flight tours in Hainan, making it the first company approved in Hainan to offer low-altitude airspace tourism services.
