Almost 20 large cultural activities will be staged in Sanya from August to the end of 2013, according to a conference organized by Hainan Tourism Development Committee on August 2nd.

These cultural activities include the 1st Sanya wedding fair, 9th Tianyahaijiao Wedding Festival, Voice of China, 2nd Sanya Beach Music Carnival, “HNA cup” Hainan Bridge Invitation Tournament, Sanya Poker Games, Sanya Art Season, Sanya Art Biennial Exhibition, New Silk Road Model Contest, Sanya Heat Beach Carnival, Sanya Food Carnival and "LuHo Sanya" New Year Carnival.

Meanwhile, the Sanya government has been striving to develop the cultural tourism products of the city, and is planning to start trial operations of the Qianguqing Grand Theater this National Day.
