The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) announced on Monday that the International Boat Show & Festival 2013 will be held in Sanya from 16th to 20th October.

The highly-targeted yacht industry marketing campaign, which is supported by the ICOMIA, will include a world yacht economy forum, an international yacht show and a series of yacht-themed cultural activities.

According to an official from the ICOMIA, as an important part of the campaign, the World Yacht Economy Forum is currently the most distinctive and highest level yacht forum to be held in China. Nearly 500 global industry elites will attend the forum, including leaders of yacht associations from all over the world, international brand yacht manufacturers and experts on the yacht industry.

A number of yacht-themed cultural activities will also be held during the campaign, including photo exhibitions of yacht development history, photo exhibitions from various yacht brands and yacht-themed weddings.
