At 00:50 on July 27th, a Jeju Air airplane carrying 198 passengers from Seoul landed at Sanya Phoenix Internal Airport, making Jeju Air the second airline to operate direct flights between Sanya and Seoul.

The new direct flights, operated by South Korea’s Jeju Air with a boeing 738, will run four times a week on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday during the period of July 27th to August 18th for summer vacation.

The flights will depart from Seoul at 8.20pm and land at Phoenix Intl Airport at 12.50pm. The flight from Sanya will take off at 1.50am. A total of 15 direct flights operated by Jeju Air will be available during the period.

Including the other direct flights operated by T’way Airlines twice a week, a total of 6 direct flights between Sanya and Seoul will be available every week during the summer vacation.
