The period of April to September is usually the off-peak tourism season in Sanya, however, due to the coming of summer vacation, Sanya has seen a small tourism peak during the off-season . 

Many Hotels and travel agencies in Sanya have launched a variety of promotional activities to take advantage of the summer vacation.

According to officials from Renaissance Sanya Resort & Spa, a five-star hotel in Sanya, the hotel is offering special deals such as "Book two nights, get a complimentary third night free” and “Book a suite for two nights and get a 50% discount”. Meanwhile, Hilton Hotel Sanya is offering a 10% off discount for shopping in its duty-free stores if tourists book rooms at least one day in advance.

Scenic spots in Sanya are also attracting tourists by offering ticket discounts for Hainan local residents and high school graduates.

Sanya is expected to enjoy significant growth in its tourism market during the summer vacation, according to an official from the Santa Tourism Association.
