On the afternoon of July 2nd, a Hainan cruise & yacht tourism special lecture was held at Qiongzhou University in Sanya.

The guest speaker at the lecture was Professor Robert Brinkmann, the director of Sustainability Studies at Hofstra University, who is a professor in Geology, Environment, and Sustainability.

According to Professor Brinkmann, the famous tropical tourism destination Hainan island has many similarities with the state of Florida in America, both have many cultures and races, both boast unique natural resources and fantastic scenery, and both have a great commercial potential in their cruise and yacht tourism industries.

About 200 representatives from the Hainan Tourism Development Committee, tourist hotels, travel agencies and Qiongzhou University attended the lecture.
