Hongqi Shopping Street, one of the busiest commercial streets in downtown Sanya, will get an all-round facelift to bring convenience to residents and tourists visiting the area.

The reconstruction started last July and is a key program in Sanya's urban construction.

Due to the lack of planning, many stores on both sides of the street have been redesigned to fit into the tropical landscape of Sanya.

The Hongqi Shopping Street is about 570 meters long. Currently, the ground renovation project is under way.
