Haikou’s first water bus route to open for trial run in September
Two water buses with seats for 80 or 88 people will be operated at the Evergreen Park’s dock to serve the route.
To provide more water transportation options for locals and tourists alike, Haikou’s first water bus route will open its trial run this September.
The water bus service will link Evergreen Park, Xixiu Beach, Holiday Beach, Government Administrative District, South Port and Yingbin Peninsula. And two water buses with seats for 80 and 88 people will be operating on the route.
At the end of last November, Haikou’s transportation authorities announced plans to open 6 new sight-seeing water bus routes across the city.
Currently, construction at the major dock in Evergreen Park is moving forward steadily and construction on two other docks at Xixiu Beach and Haidian Port is scheduled to begin this July.
If tourists want to get somewhere quickly with beautiful river bank views, they can just hop on a river bus boat at one of these docks
