According to the Sanya Tourism Association, the organizing committee of the first “Discover the most beautiful Sanya” photography competition had received more than 20,000 submissions by the end of May.

The submissions vividly showcased the urban attractions, natural beauty, tourist attractions and cultural customs of Sanya city, according to the secretary general of the competition jury Huang Yiming.

Through four evaluation and selection phases including a preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation, 2nd re-evaluation and conclusive evaluation phase, the organizing committee will announce the winners in August, and the prize will be awarded in September, including a cash award of 100,000 yuan for the special award.
