The arrival of summer has caused an increase in sales of tropical fruit at Sanya’s fruit markets.

As the largest wholesales region of tropical fruits in southern Hainan, there is great demand for seasonal tropical fruit from traders from both home and abroad.

Currently over 10,000 kilos of fresh fruit are being supplied in Sanya’s major wholesale markets.

Honggang Market, one of the major wholesale markets in Sanya located on Shengli Road, has seen an increase in tourists and visitors from home and abroad buying tropical fruits.

A fruit stall owner from Danzhou, Hainan, who has been doing business in Sanya for 5 years, commented that they had recently seen a marked increase in sales.
