Sanya’s Jiyang Town will be built into a new integrated urban district, according to a detailed plan for Jiyang Town in Sanya released by local media on June 18th.

With a total planning area of 637.05 hectares, the new integrated urban district will combine tourist services, commercial services, sightseeing, agriculture and ecological residence.

It will be divided into five parts, including an integrated service area, eco-residential area, Xitang cultural recreation area, idyllic cultural leisure area and Qianshan recreation area.

Jiyang Town (formerly known as Tiandu Town) is located in the east of Sanya. It is the second largest Town in Sanya and also the site of the famous Yalong Bay National Resort District.
