The first ‘Discover the beauty of Sanya’ photography contest has drawn wide attention from home and abroad since it was officially launched in May last year.

 

According to the organizing committee, the committee so far has received about 20,000 photographic works from both professional and amateur photographers.

 

Among them, the photos feature the marvelous natural landscape, local custom, social and economic development of the modern Sanya.

 

In July, altogether 200 photos will be rewarded with a total prize of 400,000 yuan and their works will be displayed on the website sanyatour.com.

 

Meanwhile, local tourism authority will release a booklet featuring the prize winning photographs as well as organizing exhibitions of the photos at home and abroad to better promote the image of Sanya
