The Sanya Marine and Fisheries Bureau launched a 20-day campaign to improve fishing boat management at Sanya port from June.

According to the Bureau, unqualified fishing boats and those from other provinces and regions such as Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as other counties and cities of Hainan including Lingao, Danzhou and Ledong will be not allowed to anchor at the Sanya port.

Besides, the Bureau will take more than 6 months to keep the result of the action from June 21st to the end of the year. They will dispatch 300 to 500 tonnes of fishery law-enforcement ships and Chinese fishery boat 46038 to conduct a 24-hour inspection.
