The Luhuitou Square Terminal, the first public terminal for sightseeing boats in the city, has completed construction and will soon begin its trial operation.

At present the terminal has 22 berths which can accommodate the largest sightseeing boats, which are 35 meters in length and 10 meters in width.

The terminal is the first phase of the Luhuitou Square terminal project to be completed, covering a total planning area of 260,000 square meters including the water area of 200,000 square meters. The total project investment is up to 30 million yuan.

The Luhuitou Square Terminal will greatly benefit the layout of Sanya’s passenger terminals and help improve the city’s passenger ferry service.
