The 2013 China (Sanya) International Woodball Invitation Tournament & China National Woodball Championship will be held in Sanya from June 5th to 9th.

According to the schedule, more than 350 contestants from over 20 countries are expected to attend the event, and the competition is divided into two parts including the Invitation Tournament and the National Championship, which will be held on the beach and the grass at the same time.

Due to its unique beach resources, Sanya is often considered to be the best natural woodball stadium by professional players.

Therefore, the Sanya government is planning to develop woodball into a tourism draw as well as a new native representative sport for Sanya.
