The delegation of the Hongkong Hainan Association led by President Zhang Qinchao visited Sanya on May 23, and Sanya’s Deputy Secretary Mayor and executive vice mayor Wu Yanjun met with the delegation at the Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay.

Mr. Wu warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced the recent developments in Sanya’s economy and society.

He also said that he hoped the Hongkong Hainan Association could fully exert its advantages to unite Hainanese associations, assisting Hainan in the construction of the tourism island and contributing to Sanya's economic construction.

Members of the delegation expressed that they would continue to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with Sanya in the future.
