Camping gathering sites are being demanded by tourists who favor of overland travel in Sanya in order to properly manage the city’s chaotic camping activities

As new methods of travel are developed, many tourists choose to set up tents on the beaches and green belts in Sanya Bay and Yalong Bay to enjoy their holiday and view the natural landscape beyond the seaside.

According to related regulations, overnight camping is not allowed in some public places for the safety of tourists, especially on beaches and green belts. Any camping activity violating the rules will ended and possibly fines issued.

To create a safe and smooth overland tourism environment, the Sanya government has provided four temporary camping sites for the campers during recent two golden week holidays.

Establishing a camping gathering site will be necessary for the better management of camping activities and protection of the beach resources. Meanwhile, the camping site can charge a reasonable management fee to maintain its daily operation.
