According to the Sanya tourism association, Sanya has been titled Hainan’s most popular wedding tourism destination by the tourism association and local wedding organization union of Hainan province.

This year, the Hainan government set up a united organization system to regulate wedding market operations and speed up the construction of supporting facilities and services to help promote the island’s wedding products, and more than 20 wedding tourism routes as well as many popular wedding tourism destinations including Sanya, Qionghai, Qiongzhong, Bo’ao and Tanmen have been developed.

In recent years, the Sanya wedding tourism market has enjoyed rapid growth, and the total consumption relating to wedding photography, group and individual as well as honeymoon expenses has achieved sustained high growth.
