Currently, Hainan Airlines has deployed more than 20 aircraft in Haikou, and the Haikou-based airline will continue to increase more capacity in the region, said Pu Ming, HU’s vice president at a press conference on May 22.

 

Hainan Airlines operates 98 international and domestic routes (including 7 international and regional routes) covering 38 destinations (2 abroad). In 2013, the it handled 4.11 million passengers, occupying for nearly 40% market. In the future, Hainan Airlines plans to continue to add more aircraft to the Haikou area, and improve the airline’s network layout as well as airline services, which will greatly enliven the tourism market and make more contributions to the economy and social development of the region.
