Croatia’s Dubrovnik formally became Sanya’s 11th sister-city
On April 21 in Croatia, Mayor of Sanya Wang Yong and the Mayor of Dubrovnik Andro Vlahusic signed a cooperation agreement and both sides have reached a consensus on deepening mutual understanding and establishing a friendship relationship between the two cities.
Dubrovnik is a port city located in Croatia’s southeast and it is the largest tourist center of the country, and after the establishment of friendship relationship there will be more room for cooperation in economy, trade, tourism, culture, education, agriculture and new high technology between Sanya and the city.
Up to now, Sanya has established friendly relationships with 11 international cities including Cancun in Mexico, Cannes in France, Yalta in Ukraine, Maui in American, Seogwipo in South Korea and Dubrovnik is its 11 sister-city.
