Sanya welcomes peak period of yellowtail kingfish exports
Fishermen are taking out Yellowtail kingfish larvae from the cages for shipment and exporting to Japan.
On April 14, Sanya’s third batch of 170,000 yellowtail kingfish larvae passed the quarantine inspection and were successfully exported to Japan.
According to the Sanya frontier inspection station, the city exported the first batch of 150,000 and the 2nd batch of 170,000 yellowtail kingfish larvae to Japan on March 31 and April 8,2013.
Up to now, a total of 490,000 yellowtail kingfish larvae have been exported to Japan, and the number of yellowtail kingfish larvae exported to Japan is expected to reach 1 million by the end of this month.
