Haikou Bus Terminal

 

The provincial-level transport projects, Haikou Bus Terminal and Sanya Bus Terminal, which began construction at the end of last year, are scheduled to be completed in 2014.

The Haikou Bus Terminal, located on the south side of Haikou East Station of Hainan East
Ring Railway, occupies a land area of 60,000 sqm. It is Hainan’s first functional transportation hub integrating passenger transportation and travel services.

The Sanya Bus Terminal is located near the east of Binglang exit of Sanya Ring Expressway and the Southwest of Sanya Railway Station, covering an area of 109 mu.

Financially backed by the Haiqi Group, the termthe to be built into a first-class integrated rail and road hub and the first phase of the terminal requires an investment of 560 million yuan. The daily passenger flow of the terminal is expected to reach 25,000.

The company is also planning to build similar bus terminals along the East Ring Railway in Danzhou, Chengmai Qiongzhou, Ledong and Dongfang.
