Sanya Nantian district has been included in the Haitang Bay National Coast strategic plan.

According to the introduction, a total of 8 projects in Nantian district are listed amongst the provincial key projects.

With a total investment of 5.7 billion yuan, the 8 projects include Sanya Shengquan International Hotel, Shengquan Nantian 88 Building, the drainage construction project in hot spring tourism development zone, rehabilitation center and other service apartments.

At present, some of the 8 projects are under construction.
