Sanya Bus Station to transport 45,000 passengers during Qingming Festival

Sanya Bus Station is operating 560 long-distance buses, including an additional 100 to deal with the passenger travel boom during the Qingming Festival, with the number carried daily 7,000.

The passenger flow consists of short-term travel groups, passengers en route or on the way back from visiting tombs, and visiting relatives.

Statistics from the station reveal that more than 2,200 long-term buses are expected to be in operation, and transport over 45,000 passengers during the 3-day period.

These passengers mainly leave for domestic cities like Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Zhanjiang, Nanning, Guilin and Nanchang or cities and counties within Hainan Province such as Ledong, Dongfang and Danzhou.
