Recently, Sanya’s special plan on slow lane transport was approved by the experts, and bike lanes will be added in green belts along road sides of Sanya Bay road, Yingbing road-Yalong Bay road and Nanbianhai road.

According to the plan, on the 6.2-kilometer-long Sanya Bay road, the city will realize the separation of biking and walking trails to meet the leisure demands of cyclists.

Yingbing road-Yalong Bay road, the 21km road section from Haiyue square at Sanya Bay to Yalong Bay Undersea World will link Sanya downtown and Yalong Bay, with the excellent mountain view and sea view.

The 9-kilometer-long Nanbianhai road from the crossing of the Yuya road in the north to Luhuitou Seaview Avenue in the south is to be built into a fitness bike route enjoying both mountain and sea view.

In addition. bicycle rent stations will be set up along the bike lanes .
