According to Sanya Price Control Bureau, the room rates of 213 hotels during the May Day holiday across the city were released on their official website on March 31, 2013.
 
The 213 hotels include 20 in Yalong Bay, 39 in Sanya Bay, 40 in the Dadonghai area, 98 in the downtown center, 6 in Haitang Bay and 10 in other areas.

The average hotel room rate this year has been lowered by more than 10% compared to the same period of 2012.

During the holiday, the bureau will strengthen supervision on the hotels in major tourist areas and hotels will be punished for violating the price regulations.
