The passenger throughput of Sanya is expected to rapidly increase during the Qingming festival & the 12th Annual Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) 2013, between April 3 and 9, and more than 95% of flights from Guangzhou, Beijing and Shengzhen to Sanya have already been fully booked.

To meet the increasing demand from tourists, China Southern Airlines has shifted many flights to bigger a aircraft, the Airbus 333, on the Beijing-Sanya flight route on April 3 and 4, and Haikou-Beijing on April 6, 8 and 9.

According to the domestic air ticket booking hotline, flights from Sanya to Beijing on April 6 were sold out, and air tickets to Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan, Zhengzhou and Shengzhen are listed at full price for April 6, but only a few remain.
