6 professional TV crews from the BBC are visiting Sanya to shoot documentaries to promote the tourist city in its all aspects from the middle of this month to the beginning of next month.

The advertising trips to the city cover the city’s airport, yacht marinas, cluster of luxury hotels, romantic sea islets and cultural scenic spots.

“We have prepared a special program for the city”, said someone from the TV crew. The project, with a theme of Surprised at Sanya, will show the city as an unparalleled tropical tourist resort in an extraordinary way to inspire the tourists to visit.

The BBC has also planned when and on which channels the shows will be broadcast. After conducting research on the differences between Sanya’s overseas tourist source markets in holiday arrangements and concepts, the documentaries will be aired on the channels in a well-targeted manner.
